The Brighton Optimist Club
Chartered in September 1977, the Club contributes to many local causes and has spear-headed some large projects. We are an IRS-recognized 501 c 3 organization.
As with all Optimist Clubs, we are "Bringing Out The Best In Kids" through our positive service programs. Club members are best known in their communities for their upbeat and "can do" attitudes. By believing in young people and empowering them to be the best they can, Optimist volunteers continually make this world a better place in which to live.

Not only Optimists, but people from all walks of life and from all around the world, have found inspiration and hope in the words of our Creed .
Weekly Meetings
Weekly meetings with speakers of general interest
to the community are open to the public and held Thursday mornings, 7:30-8:30
am, at the Bauery Restaurant, 4141 Bauer Rd, Brighton 48116. The last Thursday
of each month is a Club Business Meeting, which is also
open to the public.

Board of Directors Meetings
Board of Director Meetings are held the last Wednesday of each month at 7pm. All Club members are welcome to attend. Please forward agenda items for consideration to the Club President with a week's notice.
